Chia Song Hwee is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Temasek.

Song Hwee has held various leadership roles in Temasek, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Head of the Investment, Credit Portfolio, and Strategy Groups. He has also led the Temasek market teams in Singapore and China. 

Song Hwee is the Chairman of JTC Corporation. He is also a serving board member of the National Research Foundation and a member of International Advisory Council, National Financial Regulatory Administration of China. 

Prior to joining Temasek in 2011, Song Hwee was the Chief Operating Officer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Before the integration of GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd (Chartered), he served as Director of the Board, and President and CEO of Chartered from 2002 to 2009. Song Hwee also held various management positions at Chartered, including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer.

Prior to Chartered, Song Hwee was Regional Controller for Asia, Australia, and the Middle East for the drilling group of Schlumberger, a global oilfield services group.

Song Hwee holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree with distinction, from Edith Cowan University, Australia, and is a member of CPA Australia. He was honoured with the EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics Award for Executive of the Year in 2007.

Wu Yibing joined Temasek in October 2013 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, China. His prior roles in Temasek include Joint Head, Technology & Consumer; Joint Head, Enterprise Development Group; and Joint Head, Portfolio Strategy & Risk Group. 

Prior to joining Temasek, Yibing was President of CITIC Private Equity Funds Management, a position he held since December 2009. He concurrently served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Goldstone Investment Co. Ltd.

Yibing began his career with McKinsey, rising to become Senior Partner and Head of Asia Pacific M&A Practice. He was also General Manager of McKinsey Beijing. Yibing subsequently joined the Lenovo Group, and served as Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Integration Officer, Chief Transformation Officer / Chief Information Officer of Lenovo Group. Yibing was later appointed as Executive Vice President of Lenovo parent Legend Holdings,. 

Since November 2019, Yibing has been a Board Member of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliances, and chairs its Investment Committee. He has been a Board Director of Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) since July 2025. 

Yibing also serves on the board of China Social Entrepreneur Foundation. 

Yibing holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Biochemistry from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) in Molecular Biology from University of Science and Technology of China.

Tai Tee was the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at GIC, a position he held until his retirement in March 2020. As CRO, he was responsible for the risk management oversight for GIC group.

Tai Tee holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from The University of Adelaide and a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme of Harvard Business School.

Gordon has over 20 years of experience as an advisor to leading Chinese and International businesses.

Gordon is a Non-Executive Director of Swire Pacific, Meituan, Lenovo and EQT. Gordon Orr is also Vice Chair of the China Britain Business Council.  Beyond these formal roles, he provides counsel to a small number of China-focused entrepreneurs.

Gordon began his career at McKinsey. He moved to Hong Kong in 1993 and to Beijing a year later, opening McKinsey’s practice in China.  Gordon led McKinsey’s Greater China practice for many years and was Chairman of McKinsey Asia from 2009 to 2014.  Gordon was on McKinsey’s global board of directors from 2003 to 2015 with responsibilities for Asia, Governance and Risk.

Jimmy is a Board Member of Seviora Holdings. He served as the Executive Director and CEO of Seviora Holdings, as well as CEO of Seviora Capital, from 2020 to 2025. Prior to this, he was the CEO of SeaTown Holdings International from 2010 to 2020.

Before SeaTown, Jimmy was the Senior Managing Director, Head of Strategy at Temasek Holdings. Jimmy joined Temasek in 1999 and has held various roles, including Chief Investment Officer. Jimmy was with Standard Chartered Merchant Bank Asia Limited (“SCMBA”) from 1992 to 1999. In his eight years with SCMBA, he managed several initial public offerings, public takeovers, mergers & acquisitions and corporate restructurings. From 1988 to 1992, Jimmy was a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Finance of Singapore, where he was responsible for the formulation of corporate and international tax policies.

Jimmy is a director of the Health Sciences Authority, and a member of Nanyang Technological University's Board of Trustees and Chairman of its Investment Committee. He is also Chairman of Azalea Asset Management and SeaTown Holdings and a director of Innoven Capital.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) degree from Monash University, Australia.

Heng Tew is currently an Advisory Director with Temasek International Advisors.

He joined Temasek in 1980 and over the next 27 years, his responsibilities included investments (direct, funds, listed and private equity), divestments, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of companies, and corporate stewardship and governance. He retired from Temasek as Managing Director (Investments) and Temasek’s Chief Representative in Vietnam.

Heng Tew holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Singapore and has completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.

Chee Kian has over 20 years of banking and financial services experience across different markets, including 10 years with Temasek in Singapore.

His experience in investments and portfolio management cuts across asset classes and investment stages, and he has had regular involvement with investments in China since 2005. In his role prior to True Light Capital, Chee Kian was Managing Partner of a country-focused private equity fund in Southeast Asia.

Chee Kian holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Aik Meng joined Temasek in September 2024 and is currently Joint Head, Portfolio Development Group (PDG) and Head, Operating Group.

Aik Meng sits on the boards of Seatrium Limited and SATS. He also sits as a board member on other Temasek related private companies ranging from shipping and logistics, life sciences investing and fund management.

Prior to joining Temasek, he was the co-founder of TE Asia Healthcare Partners, a company largely funded by TPG Capital (TPG), spearheading specialty healthcare investments in Asia, and Group CEO of TE Healthcare Advisory Pte Ltd. He was also previously a Senior Advisor with TPG Capital. Aik Meng began his career in the maritime sector more than 30 years ago and was previously President of APL (American President Lines).

Aik Meng graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore and an MBA from Harvard University, USA.

Wai Ching joined Temasek in June 2006 and is currently the Chief Corporate Officer and Head, Organisation & People. 

As the Chief Corporate Officer, Wai Ching oversees the Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Community Stewardship functions of the firm globally. In addition, she also works closely with the respective Chairmen of our portfolio companies and their respective nominating and remuneration board committees with regard to the board composition, review of board directorships, board succession plans, management incentive plan designs, as well as executive and non executive remuneration matters. For some companies, she is a co-opted member of the Remuneration and Nominating committee. 

She is currently serving on the boards of Temasek Trust, TTAM, ABC Impact, Stewardship Asia Centre, Temasek Management Services and Pavilion Capital.

Wai Ching's career in Human Resources spans across more than 3 decades and includes appointments at Fullerton Financial Holdings, Citibank N.A., Singapore Technologies, United Overseas Bank, Overseas Union Bank and Robinsons Group. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore, a graduate diploma in HR management and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2012.

Serene is the Chief Operating Officer of True Light Capital, overseeing the compliance, legal, finance and operations functions. She has more than 20 years of post-qualification experience practicing law, both in private practice and in-house.

Prior to joining True Light Capital, Serene’s professional experience spans over 14 years at Temasek International’s Legal & Regulatory team. During her tenure with Temasek, Serene led the North Asia legal team and was the co-lead of the Southeast Asia legal team. She also led the legal team for the Temasek Bond Issuance Programme since 2018 and was involved in Temasek’s first Retail Bond Issuance and its first Triple Tranche USD Bond Issuance.

Serene graduated from the National University of Singapore with Bachelor of Laws (Second-Upper) in 1996 and obtained her Singapore bar qualifications in 1997. She also obtained an LL.M (Merit) from King’s College London in 2000.

Cheryl is responsible for Investments at True Light Capital.

Prior to joining True Light Capital, Cheryl has over 10 years of experience with Temasek, focusing on investments in the consumer sector globally. Cheryl also has more than 7 years of experience in M&A advisory and diligence.

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University.

With nearly three decades of senior management experience in investment, trust, and banking sectors, Xu Ye specialises in equity investments, investment banking (M&A, debt financing, asset securitisation), trust operations, and comprehensive commercial banking management. 

Prior to joining True Light Capital, he served as Managing Director of Investment (China) at Temasek, overseeing the investment mandates of the Enterprise Development Group in China. 

Xu Ye holds a Ph.D. in National Economics from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a Juris Master from Renmin University of China, and a B.A. in Economics from Xiamen University.
